Manzana Products Co., Inc. is a historic apple cannery nestled in Sebastopol’s Green Valley. For over 90 years, apple sauce, apple juice, and apple cider vinegar have been produced in this little corner of the world. Our area is a famous growing region for wine grapes , but many other crops as well. In fact, Manzana was started as a small dryer operation known as Oehlmann Evaporator. Local fruit such as apples, prunes, pears, and hops were delivered and dried. It was owned and operated by husband and wife team, Rudolph and Maude Oehlmann.

Seamus Wines (spelled Séamus) is opening their tasting room in Kenwood California nestled in a quiet food and wine center! There is plenty of parking which is up close to the tasting room. I have never seen such a brilliant use of wine barrel materials to create counter tops, seating, tasting bar, guest tasting tables, mirror, and decor. No this is not barrels cut in half like college dorm furniture! These are carefully cut sections of oak barrel wood, custom designed and laminated to produce a rustic elegance that I don’t think I’ve ever seen before. Putting aside their attention to detail in this incredible tasting room, they are offering some of the finest wines available in Northern California. They include Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Merlot, Rosé, and a Cuvée blend. They have a target opening time that is now down to just days!
